Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager that is not afraid of the typical startup experience.

If you are passionate about technology and keen to explain technical concepts in ways that everyday people can understand, ambitious enough to make an impact at Cleverly and a team player able to work with different stakeholders, then keep reading.

You will be responsible for our company?s marketing and communications strategies, as well as overall branding and image. You will prepare annual marketing plans, create a calendar of campaigns and events, set the marketing budget and analyse the market and competitors.


Some of your responsibilities will also include:

  • Develop and execute multi-channel content campaigns in support of the marketing plan
  • Develop plans to help establish our brand
  • Create and maintain our Social Media presence
  • Drive brand and lead generation campaigns to meet defined marketing KPIs, identify new opportunities, and support sales efforts
  • Utilize the latest marketing trends, technologies and marketing platforms to support go-to-market efforts
  • Ensure both the development and deployment of campaigns
  • Set short-term and long-term marketing goals

The ideal candidate should have the following skills:

  • Degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience working with marketing and content strategy roles
  • Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns with measurable impact
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, especially in English
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Independent worker, but team player when needed
  • Attention to detail
  • No fear of doing all the nitty-gritty
  • Experience in marketing for a B2B startup
  • Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing
  • Based in Portugal, but able to onboard and work remotely
