Duties of an employee:
? As a part of the team, provide legal support for acquisition of real estate in Portugal, the acquisition of NPL (non-performance loans) and the satisfaction of the lender's claims within the acquired NPL.
? Structuring transactions for the acquisition of real estate and the acquisition of NPL secured by real estate, taking into account security issues and the specifics of civil law regulation of a specific territory in Portugal.
Experience and understanding of bankruptcy and enforcement procedures are important. Understanding of the general principles of taxation.
? Negotiating with consultants and banks on the above issues in terms of civil-law structuring of transactions. Search for adequate consultants (the ability to isolate persons who really have knowledge and skills in the issues discussed from the entire pool of proposals and the ability to separate the advertisement/marketing product from the real competencies of consultants; agreeing the prices of services provided). Receiving and analyzing of legal advices, the ability to highlight the main thing, the ability to evaluate the consultation from the point of view of its literacy and highlight doubtful points, to formulate clarifying questions. Completing the final picture of the optimal structure of ownership and operation of real estate from a civil and tax points of view. The ability to flexibly approach the formation of the structure in compliance with requirements declared by other specialists (tax, financial, business, etc.)
? Legal support of transactions in Portugal for the purchase / sale / lease of real estate, NPL,
? Organization of the process of debt collection or foreclosure of property.
? Negotiating with providers involved in the maintenance and management of the companies of the group, providing of legal support to the companies, corporate governance issues; selection of optimal (price-quality) service packages.
? Interaction with banks on account opening, compliance, KYC issues.
? Preparation of legal opinions, notes within your expertise and competence.
? Preparation, provision of registration of the necessary corporate documents.
? Translation of the required documents, apostilling and notarizing.
Requirements:
? Higher legal education received in Portugal.
? Experience in implementing similar projects as part of a team from the creation of the structure to the moment of starting the business (to be advantage).
? Experience in real estate is essential. Experience in working with NPL, in the field of bankruptcy is desirable.
? Understanding of general principles of taxation, bankruptcy procedures and enforcement proceedings.
? Fluent spoken and written English is essential. Russian will be an advantage.?
