Job Description

We are looking for a IT Business Analyst (local contract) to join our Market Risk team in Porto.

The project team is composed by business analysts and developers and it is integrated in the Market Risk perimeter, within IT RISK. The project team is fully on site in Porto, however, the candidate is expected to work closely with international IT Teams and Business Users.

The goal of the software developed is to ensure market risk monitoring:

  • Receiving exposure to sensitivities from Front Office;
  • Designing and configuring indicators to follow the Bank?s exposure to risk;
  • Input limits to exposure.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Gather user requirements, perform requirements? analysis and write functional specifications;
  • Perform quality assurance, by defining and executing test cases;
  • Own and develop relationship with internal clients to optimize and develop new features;
  • Design, document and maintain system processes;
  • Apply best practices for effective communication and problem-solving;
  • Work in an Agile environment with a Scrum framework.

Main Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an IT Business Analyst or in IT projects in Financial Institutions;
  • Professional / Academic knowledge in Economics/Finance/Market Data/Risk Management;
  • Good level of English (minimum B1 ? mandatory);
  • SQL Knowledge (nice to have);
  • Basic programming skills (valued);
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly demanding and dynamic environment;
  • Highly motivated, willingness to learn, proactive;
  • Customer-oriented skills;
  • Good communication and organization skills.
