Our Comfort & Trim Systems Division is looking for a Central Controller to be based in São João da Madeira (Portugal)

The role of a Central Controller is responsible for the management control of a central site.

The main missions of the role are:

  • Ensure the compliance of all financial procedures associated :

    • Build, follow, and control the internal financial procedures, especially the expenditure authorization, in order that they respect the procedures and the Group policies.

    • Ensure that the site activities respect all financial procedures related to Faurecia and the 9 basics element of internal control.

  • Provide to the management reliable information regarding financial and controlling.

    • Manage all forecast processes (budget, periodic forecast, etc.)

    • Manage the reporting processes in order to guarantee its reliability, its coherence, the transparency and the respect of deadlines.

    • Ensure the reliability of hourly rate.

    • Provide all the management control analyses required particularly variance analysis, budget control by site as well as the project and the programs follow-up.

    • Cooperate with program controller?s teams to obtain, provide or validate accurate information.

    • Cooperate with the Shared Service Center) to obtain, provide and validate accurate financial information.

    • Build and control the operational cash-flow of the site (investment expenditure, working capital)

    • Provide all the necessary information asked by the internal and the external auditors.

  • Be a Business Partner for the department responsibles and provide recommendation to the management.

    • Suggest to the management action plans created using relevent analysis in order to reach the operational goals (especially for what concern the costs, the worklard, etc).

    • Ensure the follow-up of the financial impact of the action plans.

    • Ensure the engineering operational teams are aware of financial matter.

The candidate must have/be:

  • Engineering or Business school with a diploma in Finance or Controlling.
  • 3 to 5 years professional experience, with at least one experience in controlling.
  • Good knowledge in accounting.
  • Company oriented and good sense of team work
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent in English
